Elba stone, porcelain, brick facing tiles, textured glass, steel, profiled wall linings, upholstery and spotted gum timber all combine to bring a richness to the interiors.

This project, one of our most distinctive, involves the renovation of an apartment including a small addition and new interiors throughout. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s most iconic suburb, St Kilda, the residence occupies the first floor of a grandiose Queen Victorian house.

Above a car space, a previously underutilised open balcony has been replaced with a small cabin like building that is accessed from the kitchen. A sunroom or retreat, this new space is a unique interpretation of a second living room and provides an unexpected experience for guests.

A new bathroom, kitchen and bedroom have also been designed, all of which share a luxurious and chic interior palette that respects the original characteristics of the building.
